This page has important information for buyers and sellers depending on the state and type of the transaction.
- For the Buyer Fund Now – would be selected to place funds into escrow for the seller.
- Until the Buyer places funds into escrow, the Seller will see a red warning at the top to not supply the goods or services. Once funded, that will switch to green and inform the seller it’s now safe to supply the buyer.
Transaction ID – This is a unique identifier used by GoEscrow to identify various transactions at any time
Type – The type of Escrow service and if you’re the buyer or seller.
Payment Status – Either Pending or Funded
Transaction Status – Either Pending or Accepted
Escrow Amount – Varies slightly between the seller and the buyer. Seller will only see the Escrow amount, whereas the Buyer will also see the fees.
Date Created – Based on UTC time and date
Description – What good or service is being supplied
User Reference – Can be used for invoice numbers or unique identifiers independent of GoEscrow’s Transaction ID
Notes. – Can be used by either party for a variety of reasons. Notes can be private or shared (selected after choosing Add Note) An example of the reason for a shared note might be a tracking number.
